Day 01 : Arrive Delhi Arrive Delhi - The capital city of India is a extensive modern metropolis with a dramatic backdrop of prehistoric architecture. Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the Day is free to relax. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 02 : Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi Enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi, start the day with an direction tour of Old Delhi, enjoy a drive pass through the wonderful Red Fort build by the Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan in1638-48 AD, Jama Masjid Mosque- the biggest mosque in India build by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644- 56 AD. After old Delhi sightseeing head to New Delhi and visit Rajghat- memory place of Mahatma Gandhi, India Gate - The monument was built to honor the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars. The names of sacrificial victim are inscribed on the walls of the memorial, Rashtrapati Bhawan - the official residence of the President of India with 340 rooms, it is the biggest residence of any Head of the state of the world. In the afternoon visit the Qutub Minaret built in 1193 AD it is the uppermost stone tower in India. Delhi sightseeing tour ends with a visit to the Lotus Temple - an architectural wonder of the Bahai faith. The lotus shaped Temple is set among pools and the Gardens, which gives an impression of a floating half open lotus flower surrounded by its outspread leaves. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi to Leh by flight. Day Free for acclimatization After breakfast drive to Delhi airport to board the flight to Leh also the capital city of Ladakh. It is popularly known as "The Little Tibet" or "The last Shangri- La". High mountain passes is the main feature of Ladakh. World highest motor able roads are found here. This region is also the last enclaves of Mahayana Buddhism. It is one of the most gorgeous regions in the world due to its picturesque beauty located at an average altitude of 3500 meters above. Arrival Leh and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and to adjust the conditions of Ladakh. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 04 : Sightseeing tour of Leh Today we will take through various sightseeing places oh Leh. Begin the tour with visit to the historic place of superiority of the pre - Tibetan kings - The Shey Palace; it houses the largest golden Buddha statue in Ladakh. The next stop is a 15th century Gompa and is the most take pictures of monument here - The Thiskey Gompa. These 12 floored work of art wall paintings; swords, stupas and the giant column decorated with the wisdoms of the Buddha and is the most impressive Gompa in Ladakh architecturally. Another most important wealthiest & and the oldest Gompa in the region is The Hemis Gompa. The major assembly of thangkas and Buddha cylinder paintings is conserved here. Spend the evening leisurely walk through the rich handicraft market of Leh. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 05 : Leh to Uletopko to Alchi by drive Morning start with a drive to Alchi. On the way visit top breezy cliff studded with - The Phyang Gompa, Likir Gompa these are located overlooking the beautiful Likir Village. The most inspiring citadel in Ladakh "Basgo" in spite of of its ruined state is worth a visit. Drive further passage Indus River to reach Alchi the most respected monastery in Ladakh. Later drive to Uletopko for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Excursion to Lamayuru. Return back to Leh. The stunning Lamayuru Gompa is our first place to be visited this morning. It is situated in a splendid wind carved countryside belonging to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) sect of Buddhism. From here drive back to Leh. Arrive Leh and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 07 : Drive Leh to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit to Khardungla Heading towards the spectacular Nubra valley, need permission from Leh administrative office to visit this place While on your way halt to see one of the highest motor able roads in the world - Khardung La. Situated at a height of 5600meters above the sea level this place offers an remarkable views of Indus valley and immense endless peaks of Zanskar range. On arrival at Nubra Valley check in to your camp resort. This valley is measured as middle of Asia without parting out of India, one can capture desert, mountains and water in a single frame. Also famous for its very rich wildlife, you can have sight of wild horse, wild yak, large horned sheep foxes and very rare species of double - humped Bactrian camel. It is considered as the groundwork campground for the Siachen Glacier which is a posh section of the land for both India and Pakistan, due to its nearness to border region. The Sumur village - home of most important monastery of Nubra valley "Samstem Ling Gompa". It was built in 1841 and houses the monks bounded by the age faction of 7 to 70 years. In the evening know-how and enjoy the pooja ritual at Samstem Ling Gompa. Overnight stay at Nubra valley.
Day 08 : Drive back Nubra to Leh Morning take the enjoyable camel safari at sand dunes of Nubra. After breakfast drive back to Leh. Arrive Leh and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free explore Leh on own. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 09 : Excursion tour Pangong Lake by drive. After morning breakfast take a full day pleasure trip to the fine looking Pangong Lake. Again a permit is required from Leh administrative office to visit this place. It is a 134Kms long salty Water Lake situated at the height of 4350 meters above the Sea level. Because of the closeness to border region it is shared between India and China. This magnetic lake keeps on changing colours with the power of the sun rays falling over it and creates memorable scenery for the tourists visiting to the place. Later drive back to Leh for overnight stay.
Day 10 : to Delhi by flight Today after breakfast transfer to the Leh airport to board your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival Delhi proceed for the Delhi International airport for your flight back to home. Kashmir Tour wishes you a very comfortable and safe journey to home.
